Nicole and Gregg’s Wedding at the Cliff HouseThursday, June 4, 2009 - - - - Posted by WillThe Cliff House in Ogunquit, Maine is a jewel of a hotel on the side of the most dramatic cliffs in New England. Two hundred feet over the Atlantic Ocean is a patio just big enough to seat a hundred of your closest friends, should you want a wedding with an Ocean view, the sound of waves crashing on the rocks, and a perfect sea breeze to cool even the hottest summer day. Gregg and Nicole did just that, and had a beautiful day as well. Here are a few of my favorite images from their wedding:
This is the ceremony patio before it was decorated.
A few of the details that make weddings so much fun to photograph. That’s Cal and Carey, Nicole and Gregg’s children respectively, showing off their wedding duties. Flowers from Calluna Fine Flowers. Yes Will, you think, cute details, but where is the bride? Here is Nicole, radiant, just moments before she walks down the aisle.
Nicole being escorted towards the alter by her son.
For those of you who wondered why I was holding a camera on a stick way above my head, this is the view I was trying to get.
Greg’s parents – still very much in love.
The newly formed family, with a grey storm front behind them. That’s right, it was sunny and blue, then a storm swept in and entertained us, and then the day ended with sunshine and blue skies.
Okay, this is definitely my favorite shot we took down on the rocks. I don’t know if you can see it on your monitors,
Lucia and I had a wonderful time at this wedding. Thank you both for treating us so warmly. You can see all of this wedding by following this link.
