Annie and Kevin’s Romantic Session

If I gave a prize for most creative wedding theme (and I should), I’d certainly be awarding it to Annie and Kevin, who are are having a film-noir themed wedding (think of Bogart as Sam Spade) in October at the Portland Company (the gritty warehouse complex that was once the home of Portland’s railroad industry at the base of the Eastern Prom).  I love the combination of black and white elegance, steel beams and concrete floors, and exposed brick.    It’s a juxtaposition – beauty and elegance contrasting with the decay of modern ruins (this is how I see the abandoned architecture that Maine is full of – our military forts, desecrated mills, and abandoned warehouses are the Colosseums and Pantheons of Portland).  Anyway, here are some of my favorite images of two really cool people, whose wedding I can’t wait to shoot.  Thanks for looking – Will
